We are the University’s oldest sports club, established in 1964 at the inception of the University. Based in the converted Halton Railway Station on the River Lune, we have a 3km stretch of well protected water shared with Lancaster John O’Gaunt Rowing Club, Lancaster Schools’ Rowing Association and Lancaster Royal Grammar School.

We are a welcoming and friendly club catering for the student body of Lancaster University. With an ever expanding and improving fleet and a solid foundation of members we are also a club with growing ambition. Both our Men’s and Women’s squads take part in racing across the UK at a variety of different levels.

If you are a complete Novice wanting to try something new or a seasoned veteran looking to continue your rowing career at University, LUBC is certainly the place for you.

For more information on any aspect of the club please contact the secretary, Philip Baker at philipbaker1@hotmail.co.uk.
