Lancaster University women’s squad comprises of committed and competitive oarswomen, and continues to grow year on year in terms of both numbers and results.

The women’s squad firstly exists to train and develop complete novices to the sport to a standard where they are able to seriously compete with other rowing clubs in the region. Secondly, the squad aims to build on the successes of the established women’s squad who have reached the finals and been runners-up of several regattas in 2015/16 season and who, in 2011, won Lancaster’s first BUCS medal and an impressive ten points for their university after coming third in the Women’s Championship Coxed Fours at BUCS Head.

We are therefore looking for total beginners and rowers with previous experience alike; if you’re motivated and keen to represent your university at a high level in rowing we’d love you to join the women’s squad and become a part of what is Lancaster University’s oldest (and best!) sports club.
